Where does transformation actually take place?


Not in chaos.


Not in comfort.


But somewhere in between.


Safety is essential for healing. Without safety, the nervous system contracts and learning becomes difficult.


Yet when environments remain only within safety, growth can quietly slow.


Transformation tends to occur at the edge, the place where something feels slightly unfamiliar.


Psychology sometimes calls this the stretch zone.


Here, the body feels stable enough to remain present, yet challenged enough to evolve.


In this zone, curiosity replaces certainty. New perspectives become possible. Old patterns loosen their grip.


Within the Adulthood pilgrimage, safety is something participants create together rather than something provided by a single authority.


From that shared foundation, exploration becomes possible.


And exploration is where transformation begins.
